Hacker group CyberAv3ngers has claimed responsibility for a major cyberattack on ORPAK Systems, a prominent provider of gas station solutions in Israel.
The Cyber Express team received an ominous email from the hacker group, bearing the subject line “Israel Gas Stations Hacked.” In this message, they claimed a successful breach and revealed their intent to publish the pilfered database on their Telegram channel.
“We, CyberAv3ngers, hacked ORPAK Systems which is the provider of lot of gas stations across to Israel. We are publishing they database on our Telegram channel,” read the email.
The cyberattack, as reported by The Tasnim News Agency, led to the disconnection of 200 gasoline pumps from the system in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In response to this disruption, residents in the occupied territories took to social media to report the closure of multiple fuel stations in Tel Aviv and Haifa, emphasizing the gasoline pumps’ inability to provide services, the report further stated.
The CyberAv3ngers also shared documents and security camera images from specific fuel stations on their Telegram channel.
Additionally, the group expressed concerns about the presence of U.S. warships in the Mediterranean Sea and announced their close monitoring of the regional situation.
The Cyber Express Team has contacted ORPAK Systems officials to validate the hackers’ claim and obtain further details about the cyberattack on Orpak Systems.
Cyberattack on ORPAK Systems by CyberAv3ngers: Tensions Surge
The cyberattack on Orpak Systems is unfolding during a critical juncture as tensions between Israel and Hamas continue to surge, significantly affecting individuals on both sides of the conflict.
Israel’s stern commitment to “demolish Hamas” and the deployment of troops along the Gaza border have heightened tensions in the conflict.
Meanwhile, the reopening of an Egyptian-controlled crossing into Gaza has emerged as a glimmer of hope for diplomatic efforts to provide assistance to the beleaguered Palestinian population.
As a result of a deadly incursion by Hamas into Israeli border towns, international observers are closely monitoring these evolving circumstances. The Reuters news agency has reported on these developments, which have the potential to significantly influence the dynamics of the ongoing conflict.
US Officials Sound Alarms
Simultaneously, senior U.S. officials have issued warnings about the potential for increased conflict escalation.
The United States is dispatching warships to the region in response to the mounting clashes along Israel’s northern border with Lebanon. The U.S. involvement underscores the gravity of the situation and the possible repercussions of further instability in the area.
The claimed cyberattack on Orpak Systems has left Israeli authorities with the dual challenge of preserving security and stability amid a highly volatile geopolitical setting.
The actions of the hacking group serve as a reminder of the interconnectedness between cybersecurity and international disputes, with cyber threats introducing an additional layer of complexity to an already strained situation.
In the days to come, all eyes will be on unfolding developments in the Israel-Hamas conflict, the reopening of the Egyptian-controlled crossing into Gaza, and the increased U.S. military presence in the region.
The stakes are considerable, and the situation remains dynamic, necessitating vigilant observation and a prompt, harmonized reaction from the involved parties.
